Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face-to-face.
Supply information regarding the firm to the clients.
Answer telephone calls, and direct them to corresponding departments.
Take messages and forward email messages.
Receives and sorts incoming mail on the general email address.
Receives and sorts postal packages according to postal regulations and unit requirements.
Provide information to callers about the organization.
Greet people upon reception.
Direct guests to correct departments.
Handle queries from customers.
Provide administrative support.
Receive, sort and deliver mail to corresponding departments.
Maintain the appointment calendar updated.
Organize and coordinate meetings.
Maintain a tidy reception area.
The Requirements for the position are:
Previous switchboard experience (advantage)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be Computer Literate
Ability to work in a pressured environment
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (Read, Write and Speak)
Strong Customer Service Orientated
Clear Criminal and ITC records
